Mobile picture uploading sucks. Did the math to find how long it would take for a newer truck to be justified. This is just based on mpg. Assuming gas will cost $3 a gallon and I drive 25000 miles a year. I also used epa combined estimates which is low for my 1995 because I get 20 average with a heavy foot and drive thrus.
It will take 105 years for my truck to have a total cost higher than a new truck. I have to do more maitance but I also have lower insurance costs and don't need an emissions inspection.

I was bored in Chemistry one day and started comparing Jetta TDI's to Golf TDI's. There is a corner on the reference table they gave us filled with nonsense about diesel VW's.
